Plain-language guides to online games: what the game actually is, how its systems work, what the different ways of playing demand of you, and what it costs. We write for people deciding whether a game is worth their evening, not for people who already own it.

Advertising, specifically affiliate advertising. When a guide links to a game, that link is usually a paid affiliate link: if you install the game through it, the advertiser or its affiliate network pays us a commission. You pay nothing extra, and the game remains free to download where we say it is.

We mark every one of those links as advertising, at the link itself and in a notice at the top of the page. We do this because readers are entitled to know what is paid for, and because advertising rules in the EU and on the ad platforms we buy from require it.

Game mechanics change between updates, so every guide carries the date it was last reviewed. We check numbers — team sizes, party sizes, mode names — against the publisher’s own documentation before publishing, and we re-check them when a guide is revised. Where something is a judgement call rather than a fact, we say so.

If you find something wrong or out of date, please tell us. We correct errors rather than quietly deleting the page, and a corrected guide gets a new review date.
